We hope to support our Sisters and Community through Philanthropic Efforts!

As a member of Pi Alpha Gamma Sorority, we always want to ensure we support our community through philanthropic endeavors! That is why we have a Philanthropy Chair dedicated to organizing and planning our philanthropy events.
Some Philanthropic Causes supported by Pi Alpha Gamma:
Take Back The Night
This event is hosted by the Fredericton Sexual Assault Centre, as a protest of the high rates of violence against women and the ways in which women are shamed or blamed for violence. Members have taken part in this march yearly since September 2012.

Relay for Life
​Every year Pi Alpha Gamma looks forward to the Relay for Life. We bring snacks and blankets and use the overnight event as an opportunity to bond, remember and honour loved ones, and to give back.
During the 2012 event, Founding Mother Valerie shaved her head in solidarity with cancer patients who have lost their hair.
Trick or Eat
Instead of asking for candy, Pi Alpha Gamma goes door to door on Halloween looking for non perishable food items to be donated to local food banks, as a part of St Thomas University's Trick or Eat program.
We have participated in this event since 2012.
